Meet The Group

Gene Blake, low tenor, has written more than 75 arrangements for the group through the years. A devout golfer with a single-digit handicap, Gene occasionally leaves the course and ventures to the office at the Wakefield, Massachusetts office of MACTEC where he practices environmental engineering. Born and raised in Keene, New Hampshire, Gene and his family reside in Andover.

Andrew Cranin, high baritone, a native of Hewlett, New York, now lives with his family in Acton, Massachusetts. A sole proprietor who works out of a home office, Andrew provides corporate and marketing communications services for clients in several industries. He also coaches youth sports, performs in community theater, and has contributed several arrangements to PATM.

Chris Parker, bass, grew up on Boston's south shore and now lives with his family in Lynnfield, Massachusetts where he coaches several youth sports. An avid, low-scoring golfer and, unofficially, among the longest drivers of a golf ball in Greater Boston, Chris also practices law at Rubin and Rudman LLP, Boston, where he is a partner.

David Pratt, high tenor, is a life-long resident of Massachusetts who grew up in Longmeadow and now lives in Wellesley. Dave, who is CIO of a collaborative representing 50 U.S. companies, enjoys time with his family, hiking in the woods of New England, and making and eating quiet dinners with his wife.

Tim Vaill, low baritone, is a founding member of the Tufts Beelzebubs, the a cappella group in which the members of PATM sang during their undergraduate college years. Tim is Chairman and CEO of Boston Private Financial Holdings and sits on the boards of several other companies and charitable organizations. A native of Connecticut, Tim and his wife now reside in Andover, Massachusetts.

My thoughts can be boiled down to quality and fun. The quality is high and it's reliable...I have been listening to them -- live -- for over 10 years and they always seem to be “on.”' You can tell they are having fun and they have a knack for conveying that energy to the audience. It's as close as you are going to get to a guarantee for a good time.
